I personally know nothing about this topic but wonder if there are any more understandings that might fit with this unit. <br \/>\nEssential Question: These two questions seem to be able to create a good discussion among students as well as get the students to start thinking about the unit.  <br \/>\nStudents will know:   Even though there are not a lot listed in this section I think the understandings you have listed really do a nice job of summing up your unit and creating a clear cut expectation of what the students will learn from the unit. <br \/>\nStudents will be able to: I really liked how you are going to have the students create an experiment using optics. It seems as though the students will be very engaged, and I love how you have given them the opportunity to complete an experiment.  <br \/>\n<br \/>\nI would suggest making your EQ's more broad.  Try to make them more open ended so that the students will need to do some deep investigating to find the answers. They are a bit specific and seem to be easily answerable by students.  <br \/>\n<br \/>\nI would also suggest making your goals more specific as well.
